Checking the position of the nozzle as he pulls into the hot load area for another cargo of phoschek retardant chemical, this pilot will be on his second sortie to the wildfire within minutes. Yes, that's smoke from the wildfire in the background. The S2 has a quick turnaround and is one of my favorite aircraft (VS-22,USS Intrepid and Det Danang US Navy in the early 70s)...BEST views at ORIGINAL size, focus on pilot.
