Wildspirit's Fotothing

It was a clear day with no clouds in the sky; while at the top of the tramway, we heard the loud sonic booms created at 1:25pm by the Space Shuttle as it descended to land at Edwards AFB (farther to the north of snow-capped Big Bear; never did see it). But we saw the vistas in the following photos from an elevation of 8516 feet above sea level. Tremendous, clear, beautiful day.
