At the Orange County California Fair 31 July 2009, senior citizens got in for $4. Of course Pat and I went. This candid portrait of a fairgoer enjoying a fingerlickingood snack while he was watching a presentation is my favorite shot of the outing. Al Perotti is just one of thousands of senior citizens visiting the fair on a perfect day--slight ocean breeze, moderate temperature and humidity, and a plethora of attractions. Oh, yes...and great food--everything from funnel cakes to barbecue!
