A day out to discover Gillespies Beach near Fox Glacier township on the West Coast of New Zealand. The beach is covered in stones varying in size, getting smaller as you get closer to the waterline. There is driftwood lying twisted and tortured all over the beach. It would be fascinating on a stormy day when the sea was rough and washing up more wood and trees. This one is now smooth like a concrete post afte4r being tumbled in the ocean.
