The Otago Rock and Mineral Club members went on their September field trip today, 07/09/08.
We went to Measley Beach, near Toko Mouth, South of Dunedin, New Zealand. Todays target species were fossil shells and fossilised shark teeth.

Thanks Martinin957. It was a shame the sun was on the wrong side of the cliffs as I am sure it would have made things more spectacular.
It is pretty amazing what nature does when left alone.
