Weesue's Fotothing

On Good Friday, Easter 2009, a group of fotothing family members took to the road just after 07:00, heading for Central Otago to get photos of Autumn colours. This series is dedicated to my friend Dinesh, from Bhaktapur, Nepal, who is currently studying in Mississippi, USA, and longing to see more of New Zealand. These are for you my friend.
Tired of getting in and out the van and unbuckling and buckling my seatbelt, I held my camera out the van window and held it backwards to take a shot back the way we came. Not able to see what I was taking and unaware Mark was taking photos of the view in front out his window, I managed to take his photo. To capture the changing colours of the trees was part of what took us on the road. We had a great day and it was well after dark when we got home. Thank you Shirley.
