A day out to discover Gillespies Beach near Fox Glacier township on the West Coast of New Zealand. The beach is covered in stones varying in size, getting smaller as you get closer to the waterline. There is driftwood lying twisted and tortured all over the beach. It would be fascinating on a stormy day when the sea was rough and washing up more wood and trees.

Sure is. This lot could almost be meercats on sentry duty. I have not quite decided what the big piece in the foregrouond looks like but it seems to be curled up asleep.
Quite stunning for a pile of washed up wood. When are you coming to visit?

A few setbacks health and economy-wise. Still on the list and I hope we are able to get there one day!

I am sure if you get here, you will live it. Wish you well achieving our dream.
