Weesue's Fotothing

We waited in the cold wind to watch the progress of the vessel, Kakariki, as it came down the channel in Otago Harbour, passed the Mole and went out through the heads to the open sea, the great Pacific Ocean.
The pilot boat escorted the Kakariki tanker out to sea then pulled alongside to bring the pilot back to land.
A bit out of focus as it was a long way out. See the pilot in his red coat, getting ready to safely board the pilot boat in rough conditions.
