Yes it's called being stoked. Better than any drug especially when the wave is 20 foot plus and you make it.

:)) can be if your board hits you on the head or in the nuts or you hit a sandbank - busted neck but this is very rare - 1 in a million waves.

If you ever get a chance give it a go you'll be stoked just standing up and riding.
