This is a set of shots taken in the yard at Fundenii Frunzanesti, a village where my late grandparents lived, South of Bucharest, most of these items remind me of my childhood and watching my grandad working the wood, mostly barrels but anything else that you can think of and is made in wood as well.
The old clay oven, a very old tradition in those parts of the world is still present although rarely used nowadays unless the whole family is gathered around, that used to be in another place but now has been demolished and rebuilt in the back of the house and covered as you see it in the two shots.
The piece of train track was used as an anvil to hammer the barrels coils made of steel. There used to be a longer one, a bigger piece that was very shiny as it was used, I could not find it anymore although I looked.
Cheers for looking.
