Bouganvilla thrives everywhere in the Mediterranean this thorny vine comes in all shapes, vivid colours and sizes. This one overhangs the entrance to one of the beautiful small immaculate churches in the narrow streets of Emporio, Santorini, Greece.

An interesting angle you chose here, Brian. I like the way you framed the church with the flowers and the shadow on the pillars. Also the iron work of the gate is so beautiful in its simplicity. Makes you really feel that it is a spiritual place.
I've got Bouganvilleas roaming freely in my garden... in 8 different colours. They are such a joy to look at and the butterflies and birds love them.
