The dome of the Pantheon, Rome.

I think this is one of the finest buildings in the world - built between 118 and 125 AD under the Emperor Hadrian it was made by pouring concrete (made with pumice and tufa to lessen the weight) over a wooden framework. Truly a revolutionary building!

The walls of my house are poured concrete,not as ornate :-) , and far from as impressive as this unique building....a wonderful view.!
