Tonight's sunset at Westward Ho!
In the distance is Lundy Island, it is about 3 miles long and roughly 12 miles off shore.

Hi Suzanne, this is looking west from the North Devon coast - South Wales is actually sometimes visible from here but further to the right. Enjoy your time in Wales (where in Wales are you going?) and look out for a westward-facing beach!
HAHAHA, now listen here..I acutually dont know where..(im gifted with absolutely no sense of knowing my direction too), You have to ask Sam..
First i spend some time in London and Bristol..so there is going to
be some pictures that just has to be taken.
I'd love to visit Sweden someday - when is the Stockholm Marathon again?
Enjoy your 'mystery tour' to Wales!
You should get some nice pictures in London (there is just so much to photograph) and Bristol (Clifton Suspension Bridge). I'll look out for your pictures!
You're right Jude - the most likely explanation for the name is "Lund Ǿy" or "Puffin Island" in Norse - I like that!
And Puffins are apparently making a comback on Lundy (though they're still scarce and I've never seen one there - yet!). To get to Lundy you get a boat from Bideford - I'm hoping to go soon as its a beautiful island full of wildlife.
