I have enjoyed looking at Roger's (Midworlder's) pictures of Rome so I looked back at some of my own pictures of that lovely city.
Here is some detail of Trajan's column showing the Roman conquest of Dacia (Romania) in the early second century. I love the detail on the column which has proved invaluable to archaeologists.
