I heard that too,
Apparently he will be in trouble when he gets back to NZ for playing for Barnstaple without permission - but would you want to be the one to tell him off?

There are rumours that JC will play for Barnstaple vs. Bideford in the Boxing Day game - sadly I'll be in Yorkshire as I'd love to see that!
The press coverage is united in praising him as a true sportsman - a good amassador for NZ.
