My entry for beveragefriday : Hales Bar in Harrogate is entirely lit by gas, giving it a wonderful atmosphere - it is Harrogate oldest pub dating back to the mid 17th century. I had a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord (my favourite beer) and a Vegetable Balti curry - heaven!
