Skylark pictured today on Braunton Burrows (a Unesco biosphere reserve), North Devon. It was a lovely day and the larks were singing joyfully - it truly seemed like spring was on its way!

With the 300mm Steve - I was lucky to be able to get fairly close and I then cropped down the picture for more detail.

Sounds like a haven for wildlife - Brilliant shot and you are fortunate to have skylarks in your part of the country - we seem to have a lot of magpies and pidgeons!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the blackbirds in the next few weeks nest building
