This standing stone from Sourton on Dartmoor dates back to the ninth century. It is an early Christian relic (the sign of the cross is carved near the top) - it is known locally as the "Oxo" stone, perhaps you can just see the letters 'O', 'X' and 'O' on it? The significance of these letters is not known.
