Deb you're not wrong! They were originally from Canada but after being introduced to Britain they now reside and breed here. I regularly see flocks of them flying in their distinctive 'V' formations.
When I lived in Michigan, very near Canada, I would see them all the time - and take my daughter to feed them at the park. They don't fly as far south as Florida - where I live now. This is a beautiful bird :) I think you made a nice pic!
