Sunset behind the tower of St Swithun's church, Launcells, North Cornwall. The present church is mainly 15th century, there was an earlier church on the site in 1261. This site seems to have been sacred for much longer than this though, there is a sacred well (the water is said to cure eye diseases) just outside the churchyard.
The poet John Betjeman described this church as the "least spoilt in Cornwall".
