Goldfinches feeding on nyger seed in my garden. Just hours after I put up the feeder word had got around, from seeing these lovely birds only rarely I now seen them several times each day - I even saw 10 on one occasion!
it looks like they have a festive gatherings here...i think i'm gonna get myself a feeder too in the garden...they're very cute and beautiful birds Thor!
Its been a good year for them.
My residents are still feeding on hardheads & thistles around the holding but hopefully they will visit later in the winter.
