buzzard somerset wildlife

688 views 1 person's favourite photo

In my experience Buzzards are famous for sitting on telegraph poles by the side of the road until you stop the car when they fly off - so frustrating for a photographer - this one did not fly off! Perhaps this is because this is a Somerset buzzard and not a Devon one!
Sorry - technical details lost somehow - (I uploaded this one at work).

So are you saying the Somerset buzzards are more chilled than the Devonian.
I know the Cornish buzzard loves to fly away just as your about to shoot.
This species was persecuted anywhere near a shoot up until quite recently & has good right to mistrust man.
Excellent capture my friend.
