Bideford's bridges over the River Torridge.
The long bridge in the front dates to the medieval period (first constructed in the 13th century), the new bridge behind is just 20 years old. Despite appearances the bridges are over a mile apart.

Amazing compression! I like how the sun highlights the newer bridge. The old bridge, however has far more character and nice strret lamps!

Perfect composition of old and new, the dawning era of modern architecture. Full size image is fabulously captivating - as im sure your aware, the smaller size doesn't do it any justice unftunately - Brillian Location!
