ThorBeverley's Fotothing

Pentre Ifan dolmen in Pembrokeshire. This monument dates back to the Neolithic period (around 3500 BC) - the capstone weighs around 16 tons. The tomb was originally covered in earth (since eroded away) with the capstone covering the chamber containing the burials. The Preseli Hills can be seen through the monument, these are where the Stonehenge Bluestones come from.
