Such a rich red fruit! A banner of autumn indeed! I have made rosehip syrup out of handpicked wild ones - beautiful over ice cream! (Well you gotta get your vitamin c somehow!)

We used to take out the seeds and put them down people necks - they are incredibly itchy! I'm not sure it was very kind really.
