Rabbit in Brook, Surrey.
I was surprised to learn that although rabbits are one of the most-often seen animals in Britain, but this has not always been the case. They were artificially introduced from mainland Europe as a source of meat in the Middle Ages - and how they have thrived since!

I'm with Biggles on this one.
5 rabbits eat as much grass as one sheep & with the numbers increasing as they are that's a lot of sheep going hungry.
