A Heron silhouetted against the evening sky, West Sedgemoor RSPB Reserve, Fivehead, Somerset tonight. The heronry in the reserve contains over 90 nests, it is one of the largest in the country - the sound and activity from the nests was quite amazing.

Hi Carl I thought you lived somewhere thereabouts - great place, the birdsong wasamazing, the heronry very impressive.
