Tarr Steps, an ancient clapper bridge crossing the River Barle on Exmoor.
Some authorities date the bridge to prehistoric times (1000BC), other think the bridge is Medieval. Either way it is a most impressive construction!

Yes it is Annamaria - even though some of the stones of the bridge weigh several tons they are sometimes washed downstream. Apparently all the stones are numbered so they can fit them back together again!
