My entry for hobbyfriday : The Hurlers Stone Circle (dating to around 1500 BC) on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. Archaeology is one of my hobbies and there is a lot of very fine archaeogical sites in the West Country.
A very beautiful image, a great example of the subject in such beautiful evening light. We have many stone circles here in Ireland & it is really facinating to study the history of them
A very very interesting hobby!!!
Tell us more about it TB and show more photo's:)
Great entry for the theme.
Have a wonderful happy weekend my dear friend
I'll post some more pictures soon (I'm taking part in an excavation of a 16th century kiln site in Barnstaple next week) - meanwhile if you look in my albums I've got on marked 'archaeology' with over 50 pictures to keep you going!
Hehe, 50 pix and plus so far... really a grand hobby, rich and wise. This is a job I only can admire from afar... and has been one of my fav subjects to read while feeling so awe to the heavy-weight people then: I love them so...
Thanks, Thor, for your great shares. Have a nice day.
