My entry for challenge68:Retro.
Cast models (made by me over 30 years ago!) of some of the 12th century Viking chess pieces found on the Isle of Lewis in 1831. In all over 90 pieces were found, mainly made from walrus ivory, but some made from whale teeth. I'm glad to have a Viking theme for my 200th picture on fotothing!
