Was it the one about Tarka the Otter on the River Torridge? It was a lovely film. It was filmed about 5 miles from where I live (Bideford) so I went out in the early morning to do my own otter watching and had a lovely morning but I saw only otter footprints (these are taken in an Otter Sanctuary in South Devon). Still, I'll keep watching and it is nice to know they are there!
Yes it was about Tarka - I really enjoyed it. Not only did he get fantastic shots of the otters but I was amazed by all the other wildlife he photographed, the birds (kingfishers and owls) and badgers. He was very patient but it paid off. You're fortunate living in a part of the country where the wildlife hasn't been killed off by industry. We have foxes and badgers here but our rivers, although clean now, were polluted and so we don't have the wonderful wildlife you have.
