The whole legend is a fabulous story in English history/folklore.

This reminds me of Queen Bodecia (boudeca) she is said to buried under Kings Cross Station in the UK, I have a relic that could prove this

I was surprised to find his grave here. I assumed the band of merry men were mainly based in Sherwood Forest and wouldn't have travelled as far as Hathersage.

It is about the size of an old English 50p coin, and it is engraved with a chariot / horses and chariot driver

I used to work in London when I was 17 years old, and Improvements were being made to the entrance hall of St pancras Station directly next door to Kings Cross, and the Item was uncovered during digging, it looked like it may have been attached to a belt or other type of garment as there was about 15 of the relics, I got one and the rest were grabbed by whoever.
