We actually had snow - quite a lot of it in fact, in North Devon!
This picture shows part of a stone sculpture on the outskirts of Barnstaple - I am sure it has an official name but everybody calls it "Moanhenge" as there has been so much controversy about it - it is unpopular because it was expensive, people say it is ugly and lastly (prepare yourself for a shock here) it is made of Cornish stone as opposed to Devon stone.
What do you think - thumbs up or thumbs down for "Moanhenge"?

i think its a thumbs down hehe rock isnt cheap, not logic to buy a rediculous sculpture during this credit crunch, especially when it could have gone to something,,,, lets say useful or practical.
and they could have got it from a cornish maker as opposed Devon stone, that would be insulting to the locals.

So that's what you were doing today - and I thought you were the martyr for making it to work!! I should have known you could never resist.

Moanhenge for me - if it was naturally like this somewhere within a landscape, then it would be fine but as a man made effort then I think human hands have finer talent! The snow looks quite Muscovite!
