King Donierts' Stones on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. King Doniert was a king of Cornwall who drowned in the River Fowey in 875. The Latin inscription on the nearer of the two stones reads " Doniert ordered this cross for the good of his soul" - the stone bases would originally have held wooden crosses.
