I love this photo. not sure what part of the chicken...or rooster....or um.... anyway, I love those feathers.
You did such a great job photographoing them. I feel like I should be able to reach out and pluck one of them! ~smiling~

He & she are welsummers a Dutch breed, in the spring they will be penned together to breed.
Seem to be getting on together quite well.
The cockerels shield the hens.
Whenever I try to shoot one of the hens the boys step between us.
