Nice shot of the falconer with his Gyrfalcon. Very pretty birds, those. I don't find it strange at all that a young falconer would bring his bird to a match race- in fact, falcons are often flown at airports and race tracks in order to rid the area of pigeons. . .among other "vermin". :)
