oh for pete's sake! that makes me have flashbacks!!!!!

back in 1990 my apartment in Cardiff by the Sea..... we were watching Caddyshack... at the end of the movie where the golf course starts blowing up to get the gopher... the hot water pipes running thru our ceiling burst and water just started shooting in.... then the idiot neighbors below us came running up to see what we did! jeesh

it wasn't nearly this bad tho! so sorry you are having to go thru this... i hope you didn't lose much stuff hun

I haven't lost tooooo much yet Lisa...just a bedroom so far and all the stuff in it...but this house is going to be pretty torn up for awhile...ceilings are bulging and I can't even get in my bathroom right now...it sux. But on the upside..I can redecorate and i get freshly painted walls and new carpet...YAY! Just have to deal with the mess for awhile ..and the inconvenience of a motel.
Hehe...I had the same thing with hot water pipes in an apartment too but all I had to do was move to a new one.

ya we were in a hotel room with our room mate for about 4 days... that was fun NOT hahahahahaha

It's gonna take longer than 4 days for this...the drying out process and sealing is going to take 4 days itself. I don't like this house anymore:-(((((

oh it's gonna be ok! and ya you have a lot more damage there! but just keep thinking when it's done how nice and newish things will be and STURDIER! ;-)

make sure you get your heart down off the ceiling! lol i tape stuff up too LOL

Hehe..it's Miranda's heart...she taped them all over for Valentine's day even though we weren't here:-)))

...not unlike the hurricanes a few years ago...many people around here had the same problems -- mold, etc. Good luck!

It's really yucky Will and I'm allergic to mold and mildew so it's making me pretty sick...can't breathe very well in here.

No hurricanes here Deb...just ice and snow...what's strange is they can't figure out where the water's coming from...the roof is only a year old and there's no leaks that they can find so far..more will be revealed soon I guess:-))

Landlord had no choice Heather...this was due to his negligence. I reported the wet attic at Christmas and mant times after that. He just didn't think it was this bad...and it's being worked on right now. Hehe...I don't have to clean today...YAY! lol
