In memory of my very best friend Scott...his birthday was last Saturday...he would have been 41 years old.
I wrote this for him last July...3 years after he died in a motorcycle accident.

Memories of Scott..
Red Carnations,
Heart to heart talks under the stars
Making faces at me
across a crowded room
to make me smile
Laughing blue eyes
Long bike rides going nowhere
French vanilla cappuccino
Gazing at clouds lying in the cool grass
Sharing an ice cold Diet Mountain Dew
Climbing up my balcony in the rain because
I lost my key
Big warm gentle bear hugs
Watching Lord of the Rings
over and over and over
Laughing that funny laugh
that always made me laugh
even through tears
The warmth in his voice
when he said"I love you my little one"
My Scott
My best friend
Everywhere I go
Everything I do
I see your face
hear your voice
feel your laughter
And realize how very much I miss you....
I love you Scott.

You say everything about everything you knew and remembered about scott, no its not a Poem, but in itself ..it is feeling that you pass on to me reading it, it is pure Poetry of love... the love for another dearly missed ...
You have brought a Tear to my eye Shari .... my heart goes out to you and your Handsome friend ..I know only to well the pain of loosing another in Tragic accidents ..

I thank you for adding this Tribute .... I am sure he is tonight very proud that he had you as a loving friend ..and still does so today..

That's a sad but inspiring story my friend, he was a lovely looking man and was obviously a lovely character too for having you as his best friend. Your poem brought tears to my eyes, such a touching tribute!

died many friends of mine with their motorcycles, but i cant stop to drive myself my motorcycle...i feel sorry about that...its not good when we lost our friends...
