Riet: Here's what happened: My brother in law almost tore the nest apart while he was pruning(trimming) the olive trees of the back yard! As soon as he saw it he called me and showed it to me too, as a matter of fact he thought he had damaged the eggs and wanted me to check them out 'cause he was feeling really squeamish about it. The eggs were OK. I went up the ladder to the terrace(roof) of the house from where I had a clear view of the nest. I used the 300mm tele and shot a few test shots of the eggs while waiting for the mother to come back and as soon as she did I took her pictures too. End of story.
