The trees outside our apartment in Ilfracombe attracted lots of little Willow Warblers, feeding on the aphids! I'd never seen so many of these pretty birds before, or got any photos!!
They are summer visiters to the UK and almost identical to Chiffchaffs.... the only ways to tell them apart is the colour of their legs and their differing songs..... Willow Warblers have light coloured legs and Chiffchaffs are dark. :)

and willows have much longer wings Carl!!! Apparently there were 500 willows at Portland on Thursday, quite a "fall".

This is a really lovely shot, how long dod it take you to get it?

They are lighter coloured & brighter as well if that makes sense but you are right they are hard to tell apart.
Nice to see them back again in numbers, although willow warblers are scarce here. Nearly all chiffchaffs.
