Somersets weather is governed by the air flow up the Bristol Channel, this is usually warm air from the Atlantic, so snow is very rare on the low ground! Westonzoyland is actually an island, the surrounding Somerset Levels are below sea level and liable to flood in very wet weather and high tides, despite the huge man made drains built to take the excess water back to the sea!
By the way, i love snow, so when it does come, i enjoy it!
Hope i didn't bore you too much! ;) | |
