This little round hill in Little Fryup, North Yorkshire is know as a "fairy hill". Nearby is a hill called "Fairy Cross plain" where fairies were reputed to have danced. The name 'Fryup' is from the Norse 'Freya's op' meaning Freya's valley. What a fascinating part of the world!
