On holiday in France, I was spending time with my cousin and her husband. We visited this little village that neither they nor I can remember the name of, but walking round the back of the village church, right by the sea I saw this halo effect and had to take it. Shot on my old Fuji S5500.

	Nov 19 2006 03:13 GMT FeatherBirdLady do you really like the FujiFilm S5500? I am about to receive an S9600 (in Europe, that's what they're called- here in the US they are called S9100). I hope it's all I have wanted in a near-SLR digital camera...it will come with two lenses; wide angle and telephoto. . .and will have an Optical Zoom of 10.0X
	Nov 19 2006 12:37 GMT Sniffer On the camera front - I quite liked the S5500 - it took quite good shots, but was only a 4MP camera. I also got fed up of the delay between the shoot and the take, and night time/low light level photos were hard to take so I upgraded to Canon 350D. I did play about with an Australian friend's S9600 and was much more impressed, particularly as it was nighttime when I was playing. Sounds like you'll have fun with it!
