I definitely like this orientation better. Otherwise, I find myself rotating my head to view the image! The color could be enhanced in Photoshop. A solid backing for the quarters would help us focus on them. The color stripes pull my focus away.
This is a great example of patterning. What a creative idea to use quarters to create your scene! I actually like the colors underneath, it makes the picture more interesting rather than a solid background, which could make all the quarters seem to blend together. Nice job!
Creative Pattern composition. I like that each of the quarters' faces are not the same-- this makes it even more interesting and holds my attention longer because I'm looking to see the design on each face.
