Elgar's organ is in the middle of the balcony, the "new" console to the far left. The organist has his (or in this case, her) back to the rest of the church and feels very apart from all that is going on. There is a mirror strategically placed but it doesn't really allow the feeling of being au fait with what is happening in the service. Scary!

Nice building - in all my time as a Catholic I never went into that church, (and in all my time as a non-catholic I haven't been in there either!)
