Sheila's Fotothing

Saturday 18th September - we were treated to a guided tour of The Regal Cinema in Port Street, Evesham. Built in Art Deco style in 1932, it had been closed and left to go to rack and ruin for many years. It has now been bought and is in the long process of seeking finance and volunteers to help resotre it to its former glory.

17. the paint is coming off the ceiling but the plasterwork seems to be pretty well intact. There's a large patch of damp at the back of the balcony where the new owners had had to stop rainwater pouring in!
