1) A couple of weeks ago, under the auspices of the orchestra I play with, Chandos Symphony Orchestra, I ran a competition for Young Musicians, Being held in Malvern it was no great surpise to find a statue of Sir Edward Elgar in the waiting area! He was immediately labelled as "Steward" and given the task of keeping everyone as quiet as he was being!
