My parents were asked to "stand in for " the Queen and Prince Phillip at their association of retired people Street Party. Looks like they did a great job! Dad was determined to be in character and look grumpy - Mum was disappointed not to be able to go without her walking stick!

She's always looked like the Queen Mum. More coincidence is that both the Royal couple and my parents married in 1947. She had 3 boys and a girl, Mum had 1 boy and 3 girls!
