What an excellent and very sharp picture Scarlett: brings back memories of Paris and France. Makes me want to go there again!!! Go the the Louvre see the statue Jean-Antoine Houdon made of his wife, do you know it?, it is so stunning! Walk through the Versaille parks once more, go to the Opera and so on, and so on...

No Anna, not especially this one... But there is a long time I weren't to The Louvre !! ;))

Houdon was a survivor: he made many sculptures during the ' ancien regime', but also from Napoleon and his first wife Josephine de Beauharnais, he traveled to America, where he made wonderful works too, went even to Russia and visited there Catharina the Great. He is one of your most outstanding sculptors. Take your nice little daughter and your handsome husband with you and go the Louvre!!! Also in Versailles they have some works by Jean-Antoine Houdon!
