Some more lightning shots taken when storm chasing last night.

Debatably not as good as some of the others but I quite liked the blue colour. I had to keep the cars side lights on so we didn't get crashed into by other cars passing in the country lane in such bad weather. It was raining so hard that I didn't wan't to get out of the car and get the camera soaked, so in some of them there is slight reflection from dash lights inside the car. At least I managed to time the shots betweeen the intermittent windscreen wipers!

Thanks Maurabia. Glad you liked them. It was pretty exciting being out in such bad weather with flash floods and terrential rain. It was so warm though! Lucky I have a 4X4!

Thanks Archer. Yeah it was hard! I had never tried to do this before. I set the camera to ISO 800 and shutter to 1.6 seconds and hoped for the best. I also had the Nikon on manual focus and it was so dark I couldnt tell if any shots would come out in focus. Bloody hard. I have every respect for photographers who capture "proper" lighning shots!
